Ime Bishop who is fondly called ‘Okon‘ by fans, has joined the likes of Ini Edo as political appointees to Akwa Ibom State governor, Emmanuel Udom.
The ‘Okon In Lagos’ actor has been employed as Special Assistant to the governor of Akwa Ibom on Ethical and Social Reorientation. Ime Bishop was recently spotted with Senator Ben Murray-Bruce last month (April 2016), and few days later he gets a political appointment.
Ime took to Instagram on May 5th to share the good news with his fans.

“Yes it’s true… been made Special Assistant To The Governor On Ethical and Social Reorientation, Akwa Ibom State. Thank you Gov Udom Emmanuel. Most above all, Thank you Jesus!”
